Itinerary
Day 1
Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
Trek through rainforest to the first hut.
Day 2
Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Cross into the moorland zone.
Day 3
Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut
Short hike to Zebra Rocks for altitude adjustment.
Day 4
Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Cross the Saddle to base camp.
Day 5
Summit via Uhuru Peak, descend to Horombo
Midnight departure for the summit, descend to Horombo Hut.
Day 6
Descend to Marangu Gate, transfer to Arusha
Final descent and certificates.
Day 7
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Afternoon game drive among elephants and baobabs.
Day 8
Tarangire to Ngorongoro Highlands
Drive to the crater rim, arriving for sunset.
Day 9
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Departure
Full crater game drive before transfer to Arusha for departure.
