Day 1
Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Trek through montane rainforest.
Day 2
Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Climb onto the Shira Plateau.
Day 3
Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Acclimatization hike, descend to Barranco.
Day 4
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Scramble up the Barranco Wall.
Day 5
Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Trek to base camp, rest before summit push.
Day 6
Summit via Uhuru Peak, descend to Mweka Camp
Midnight summit push, descend to lower camp.
Day 7
Descend to Mweka Gate, transfer to Arusha
Final descent and certificates.
Day 8
Arusha to Serengeti
Drive to the Serengeti with an afternoon game drive.
Day 9
Full Day Serengeti
Game drives around the Seronera River system.
